Business Services

  • Company Secretarial Services

There are quite a number of areas where Directors are required to notify Companies House of any changes which occur during the lifetime of a Company. These events include changes of Directors, changes in share issues or shareholders, changes in addresses, etc…

Some of these changes are reflected in the annual Confirmation Statement but others require notification to Companies House within a certain timescale (normally 14 days).

We can take all the stress and worry away from the Directors, and deal with the Company Secretarial side of the business.

  • Annual Confirmation Statement

It all begins with an idea. A Limited Company is required by law to submit an annual confirmation statement to Companies House. This document is an annual statement showing the Directors, Shareholders and Persons of Significant Control.

We can deal with this on behalf of the Company, ensuring the confirmation statement is correct and submitted on time.

  • Business Advice

Directors are normally more that capable running their own business and dealing with the day to day challenges that presents.

However they may not have the experience and expertise in the business and financial side of running said business.

Although we may not know about your particular trade or the services offered, we have many years’ experience in the operation of businesses and we would be pleased to pass on that experience to help your business succeed.

  • Registered Office

A Limited Company needs both a business/trading address and a registered office. The business/trading address is the address where the business carries on its day to day operations. This is normally an office or business premises (or a home address if the business does not have premises).

The Registered Office is the address where the Company is registered and where official documents are delivered to.

We can offer our address as the Company’s registered office. This means that any such documents are sent to our office and not to your business premises or home address. It also means that the Directors can use the registered office as their correspondence address meaning that their home address is not in the public domain.

  • Management Accounting

Directors of small to medium Companies are more likely to be involved, hands on, in the actual trade of the business, rather than in the financial aspects. However, all Directors have a responsibility to be aware, at all times, of the financial position of the business. Directors should also be aware of how a business is performing and look at budgets and projections for the coming year.

It is normally a few months after the financial year end when the annual accounts are prepared and so you are then dealing with historical figures rather than current figures. This means that any tax planning opportunities have also passed meaning possibly paying more Corporation Tax than you needed to.

We can help overcome this with the production of quarterly management accounts or on a monthly basis (if required). This will give you financial reports on how the business is performing and the current financial position.
